What better way to relax after results day than with spraypaints? After delving in the shed for a saw to cut a suitable piece of plywood, I finally managed to actually use the saw. They say that a man is meant to take care of his tools but for my dad this just means bundling everything in the shed with the vague idea that he will sort it out ‘one day.’

Anyway, so I decided to experiment after being told that it would be a good idea to create a sunset using the paints and here is what I came up with.

£25 anyone?

It needs a bit more work I think but after a few more practice runs, I am hoping to create a suitable background upon which I can write people’s names in graffiti. Would you be interested in purchasing such a thing?

I have sent so many emails over this past week that I neary signed off this post with the words ‘kind regards.’

  1. Love it! Great for a first try (sounded like a first try?) I think it would be an awesome idea if you could finesse the paint enough in order to do your graffiti style on it! I have been looking in to doing a mosaic soon. I have never done one. I actually have a love for repurposing and found a prime piece to put a mosaic on. I found this burnt orange, somewhat ornate, small end table without the actual table top in it. It’s like the insert for the glass is missing or something. Anyway, once I get the insert part filled in, I’ll put the mosaic on that.

Good luck on furthering your spray painting abilities! 🙂
