The 2000 Followers Reveal…

I am still the same teenager who began blI ogging in April but I am certainly a happier one with the 2000 followers milestone reached! It has been an amazing and challenging journey, especially overcoming that moment where it feels you have written all you wanted to write about. I guess that is why many bloggers find themselves losing interest after the first few posts as they feel they are restricted by what their blog says it is about. It is a mistake to think that each and every post should be interlinked as your blog is about your writing, not a sequence of chapters. Unless of course, you’re writing a novel.

So for this 2000 followers post, it was suggested that I should do a few things but out of them, only a couple made it through the drawing board of my brain and the limitations of my phone.

I have to thank all of you who have read my blog over the past few months, especially those who have returned again and again to read my ramblings. I hope they have made you think or laugh or smile at the very least! So thank you for being with me on this journey and for inspiring me to continue writing. When surfing WordPress, I inevitably feel some sort of awe for blogs which have thousands of followers but please, no awe for me, I’m just an eighteen year old teenager! At the same time, I love those blogs which have a small yet dedicated following and are remarkably funny.

Blogging can sometimes be a little scary. You don’t know who is going to read what you are writing or how something wi be received. Some posts that I write end up in the gutter whilst others which I felt were just normal turn out to be extremely popular. It’s all a learning process. To pick out my most favourite posts would be far too tricky and those posts which do not get picked will simply start to cry.

I would like to request you though, to please take your time exploring my blog today, check out the different categories and visit the archives of my posts.
