So after the end of exams, you would expect the typical ‘oh I have been catching up on my sleep’ comments. Well, I haven’t been able to do that because of a pesky little golden tanned problem. My little brother.
Every morning, he wakes up for school and makes such a racket that my sleep is disturbed. Admittedly, I am a light sleeper and since we share a room, it does not take much to wake me up. The annoying thing is that I have been looking forward to my lie-ins! To be able to wake up naturally, without the sound of my alarm clock telling me it is time for work or college.
Normally, I would like to wake up early but my body needs some intensive care from my bed. Especially after today’s fast which was exacerbated by the fact I had to work. So now as I sleep, I hope to wake up at a gloriously late time. Hopefully. My little brother has been making some excuses for school tomorrow which I don’t mind today since it will give me a chance to enjoy my time in the land of dreams.
Oh wait, the mother will be awake though….
NAWWW you’re brother still sounds so cute! π
Ah…light sleeper eh?
Hmm. Well, my body is a bit odd. I don’t actually use an alarm; I wake up automatically. And freakishly early too. π

Naa he is getting past that cute phase π
Yup!
Aah well I have to have my trusty alarm clock with me, mind is too lazy to wake up on its own π¦

:P. (Still cute)
Alarm clocks…hmm do you use mobile or actual one? When I used to use one, I’d use my phone because it JUST NEVER WENT QUIET, and my parents use their phones, but my brother doesn’t (he relies on us – mostly me! – to wake him up).

I use both but mainly and actual one because it is nice and loud.

Wow!! Wait, is it like those you see on kids tv?! Or am I thinking Alice in wonderland…? (Sorry, but the thought of a proper alarm intrigues me, immensely!) π

It takes a lot to wake me from my sleep. I once slept through a bomb blast. This actually happened

Haha! I grew up in Northern Ireland so there were quite a few bombings. When I was a kid there was a car bomb on our street and my mum said I slept through the whole thing even though it blew in all our windows!

True. But I always woke up when I heard the ice-cream van!

Hmmm now that was just because your ears was trained to listen out for the van’s music π

I know that feeling, luckily though I no longer live at home. For me the problem is trying to get to sleep… living in a 6 person house with 9 college students who drink a lot and play a lot of music can make that… challenging… to say the least!

Uh oh! Extra intensive ear plugs are required!
