So today I decided to test out my spray paints properly. I’m not really a YouTube person but in order to get some inspiration, I had to venture into its offer of spray paint tutorials. After typing in spray paint for beginners, I came across a nice little explanation of how to create a ‘galaxy.’
It appeared to be quite simple and after noting down the steps, I took myself and my tools (one trip for two trips are for wimps right?) to the garden. So here you see the fruits of my labour. Annoyingly, I need more colours to make it look better because as you can see, the planets are quite similar in colour to the background since I only have four colours. However, after spending quite a bit on other art supplies, I think I will be waiting before splurging again!

Uh huh, apparently its to stop your paint from drying too fast when you need to texture it.

I never thought we could achieve such clarity with Spray painting. Though You have brought out only a few heavenly bodies, the details on planet Earth are Really Very Good! Kudos again.

When I first searched for ideas, I couldn’t believe it either! The funny thing is that it requires a few other tools so for example, the texture on the planets is simply created with a piece of magazine paper pressed on to the paint and pulled off. I’ve seen some other amazing ideas which hopefully I will attempt one day!
